PV Days 2022: PV on the Rise – Chances, Challenges and Changes

Comeback of the German solar industry? Fraunhofer CSP is at the heart of it!

With around 70 on site participants, PV Days, Fraunhofer CSP's annual research and industry workshop, celebrated a successful revival after a three-year pandemic-related break. 16 inspiring presentations, a lively industry marketplace and numerous engaging discussions showed that the industry is finally ready to take off again.
Impressive figures such as the expected doubling of production capacity in the next 2 years and a fivefold increase in installation in the next 4 years underpin this optimism.
The PV manufacturers from Central Germany represented at PV Days alone reported more than 250 job openings, with more to follow shortly. And at least as many jobs are to be filled in the downstream area of installation and maintenance.
The industry is on a sustainable growth path and Fraunhofer CSP is ready to drive it further with its market-oriented research services.

We are looking forward to next PV Days. Mark your calendars for November 15-16, 2023!
