from southern direction:
Follow the A143 to the »Halle-Neustadt/Halle-Zentrum« exit. Then drive approx. 8 km on B80 in the direction of Halle until you reach Rennbahnkreuz. At the city entrance, use the left lane to drive straight ahead from B80 in the direction of »Kröllwitz /Universität«. Follow this road until the next traffic light intersection.
from northern direction (A9, A14 motorways):
Leave the A9 at the »Halle« exit, the A14 at the »Halle-Peißen« exit, follow the signs for »Zentrum« and »Halle-Neustadt/Eisleben« (Riebeckplatz), leave the elevated highway after the Saale bridge at the »Gimritzer Damm« exit and follow the signs for »Magdeburg/Klinikum, Kröllwitz/Universität« (Weinbergweg) to the next traffic light intersection.
from both directions continuing to Otto-Eißfeldt-Straße 12:
At the intersection turn left into Blücherstraße, in the direction of »TGZ III /Finanzamt« and follow the route for approx. 600 m. Finally, turn right onto Otto-Eißfeldt-Straße. The Fraunhofer Center for Silicon Photovoltaics CSP is on the right-hand side.
Take the train to Halle (Saale) Central Station. From the central station, take tram line 4 or 5 (direction Kröllwitz) to the “Weinberg Campus” stop (the stop before that is called Gimritzer Damm). The journey takes about 20 minutes. Continue on foot along Walter-Hülse-Straße, turn left into Heinrich-Damerow-Straße, then left into Erich-Neuß-Weg. Keep to the right of the Wacker Biotech building and follow the path to the main entrance of the institute building. (approx. 8 min).
Leipzig/Halle airport, from there you can catch a suburban train every 30 minutes to Halle main station. Trip takes about 10 minutes.
